The crude oil contains different amounts of paraffin, which is generally in a dissolved state under the condition of oil layers. When crude oil rises from the bottom of the well and flows through the tubing, the temperature and pressure gradually decrease, and wax gradually separates, accumulates and adheres to the pipe wall, which is called oil well wax deposition. It makes the inner diameter of the tubing smaller, affects the production capacity of the well, and even stops the production of the well in serious cases.For oil wells in different oil fields and reservoirs, due to different crude oil properties and wax content, temperature and pressure, flow conditions and tubing surface conditions, the location of wax deposition is also different.Wax deposition starts in flowing wells, pumping wells or gas lift wells above a certain well section (including oil production pipelines). In the production process, when the temperature of the oil layer near the bottom of the well is low, or the oil layer temperature is reduced to the wax deposition temperature due to water injection, wax will also be deposited near the bottom of the well or in the oil layer.
Vaxförebyggande: ① Injicera paraffinhämmare (såsom petroleumnatriumsulfonat) eller paraffinlösningsmedel av flytande aktivt medel i brunnen; eller lägg högmolekylär polymer (som högtryckspolyeten) i brunnen och lös den något i oljan, så att även om fasta vaxämnen kan separeras ut, kan de inte ackumuleras och växa, utan bara flyta i oljan och tas upp ur brunnen. ② Glasfodrade slangar eller belagda slangar med slät innervägg och hydrofilt och oljeavvisande medel ska användas för att förhindra att vax samlas på rörväggen. Vaxkontrollåtgärder kan förlänga vaxborttagningsperioden för oljekällor.
Vaxborttagning: det finns två metoder för att ta bort vaxavlagringar på rörväggen: ① För mekanisk borttagning av vax kan vaxskrapor eller vaxborttagningsbitar användas för flödes- eller gaslyftbrunnar, och sugstångsvaxskrapor kan användas för att pumpa brunnar till ta bort vax regelbundet. ② Termisk vaxborttagning, cirkulerande brunn som spolas med het olja eller andra värmebärare för att smälta vaxet ur brunnen. Denna metod kan användas i olika oljekällor. Vaxavlagring i formationen nära botten av brunnen kan lösas genom att pressa het olja eller lösningsmedel (som lätt olja). Dessutom finns det även elvärme eller termokemiska metoder för borttagning av vax.
